11/16 Gratitude Tuesday, Dearborn Chamber of Commerce

Today, we celebrate the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce for continuing to support the reach of Project Mother’s Day.  This June, Project Produce, an extension of Project Mother’s Day launched in the Dearborn Farmer’s & Artisan’s Market.  

This was made possible by the generous support of the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce.  Always looking for ways to engage residents,  support local charities and help encourage local shopping, the Dearborn Chamber provided the venue for Project Produce to be successful, in the Dearborn Farmer’s & Artisan’s Market.  Every Friday, Project Produce encouraged consumers to visit the Market, to patronize the participating farmers and share a little with those in need.

Project Produce volunteers collected and delivered more than 70 pounds of fresh produce and artisan food items every Friday to First Step of Michigan, a local domestic violence shelter.   Families in transitional housing were given an extra hand up thanks to the generosity of Project Produce supporters like the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce.   Learn more about growing your local business in Dearborn by clicking here Dearborn Chamber or by calling 313-584-6100
